Is there a maximum temperature for the bee balms? I have mine in part shade but it can get hot where I am with stretches of weeks over 100F degrees. So far I only have one flower😕

I have tons of sunflower seeds. They do so well in my garden. My Hysop does well but I think I'm out of seeds. I fight sooty mold on the leaves with that.
Ah I have not had that issue with my anise hyssop but I do always have it standing by itself with lots of airflow and I mulch underneath with cedar bark so maybe that prevents it.
I am packing up some seeds for you and wondering if there are any other types you are interested in so I can check my collection for you.
Thank for the info. This little Biquinho peppers were awesome. The sweet ones and I’m not sure what else. I think I kept seeds from everything. Any medicinal herbs would be awesome. Thank you

Good question, here it only goes above 100 for a few days at a time typically but it does fine.
I do notice I have one bush in part shade and it thrives and blooms longer (maybe 6 hours of direct sun)
Perhaps try a protected location that gets less afternoon heat/sun
I’m obsessed with scarlet bee balm! Mine just started blooming last week (I’m in Minneapolis)
I see so many dragonflies around her and she makes the best tea.
I don’t love the lavender bee balm for tea, but I use it in pesto since it has more of an oregano flavor.
