I love composting! Have so many saved seeds, mother nature is very generous, have to give many away, don't have the space to use them all. And thanks to you, I'm getting better at fermenting, you inspired me to be a bit adventurous. Thank you.

Our earth is magnificent.

What a beautiful post. The seeds I save are also very precious to me, along with any perennial roots that can be divided and transplanted. We should always try and let one of our heirloom plants go to seed each year for a steady supply. For those that only go to seed every other year (carrots, onions) I usually save a small one to replant or leave one in the ground for the winter.

Thanks my friend! Well said regarding perennial roots! I like to propagate our Echinacea in that way when I harvest some of the roots for making medicine. (I explain how at the bottom of this post: https://gavinmounsey.substack.com/p/day-twelve-echinacea )

Thanks for the comment Rob :)

Technology is a 2 - edged sword, we're approaching, if not ALREADY AT, the point at which we think that we're LOST without it, but we can lose our souls to it, ESPECIALLY IF we forget the cell ( organically speaking ) that has been our MOTHER SHIP & our WOMB, thinking that we're ABOVE NATURE & SEPARATE FROM THE UNIVERSE.

wonderful article and in particular the pictures;) Although need to add, my view on 'True Wealth' is different. It seems, to me, that the true Wealth is your HEART, human heart. It directs you in anything what can be precious, wonderful, lasting, and that includes your HARD WORK, which one day will bring that wealth as it is accepted in todays' world. The latter is pretty relative though too, it all depends how YOU define the wealth, you can be happy with one goat or 100 cows, giving everybody around the SO PRECIOUS RAW MILK:)))

And the amazing thing is hard work doesn’t feel like hard work when you’re enjoying what you’re doing ❤️
