I am SO glad someone wrote a book about it. Does it talk about their consciousness? Electrical charge is running through the whole forest, of course, my mushroom article went into that, but their consciousness, they sleep, they count and have awareness. the indigenous people have it right.
Me too! I can't remember if the book touches on the sentience and consciousness of trees but I look forward to finding out over the next couple months :)
I am excited to read it back to back after The Soul Of The Soil as they were published only one year apart so it will offer an interesting cultural cross section /comparison to see how a harpist from Scotland views soil ecology compared to some academics and organic certification specialists from Vermont (both living and writing in the same time period, about 25 years ago).
I added some pics that offer a sneak peak into the book in the post above that touch on how connected the Earth's natural magnetosphere (which protects us from the intense gamma/x-rays emitted by the sun and other stars) is to the concentration of healthy primary forests which, if one contemplates 5G and it's impacts on biology/tree health, has very profound implications indeed.
Neil is doing some great work showcasing rare pockets of habitat, ancient cultural sites and forest ecosystems in Scotland. He was kind enough to allow me to use some of his beautiful photography from Craigellachie, Strathspey, Scotland in this article: https://gavinmounsey.substack.com/p/birch?

Thanks for the comment.
Dearest Great Spirit: For the sake of the Trees, give us the grace to stop the 5G.
Amen. Thank you for that prayer.

I'm a (tree) hugger! ^_^
Me too! and a tree talker and a tree's student as well ;)
Though some may use the term with a derogatory or dismissive intent, as Lyanda Lynn Haupt, I wear the label endearingly and as a badge of honor.

Good, so do I, and I feel sorry for those who don’t “get it.” xo
