I found oysters yesterday on a log in West Virginia. I forage constantly. Have found Amanita, chanterelle, “cauliflower” mushrooms, turkey tail, Maitake, morels, reishi, lions mane and (I know they aren’t mushrooms) ghost pipe. I really loved your article and appreciate the time you took to write it. I’m going to buy that book or at least check it out out of the library. I’m with you on big Pharma, but nobody’s perfect, not even this author.

The book that got millions into mushrooms!

That is a good point and something I had not considered when reviewing this book. I never looked into the sales stats but given how many of my friends got this book since it came out I would say that millions is likely on point.

Despite my criticisms of Paul's pro-Big Pharma, pro-military industrial complex and pro government views, I do still have a lot of respect for the guy and his work.

I also lost two friends (they were my age, 35 at the time) to the mRNA injections (both of them were mandated to take the injections by employers and/or government of they would lose their career). Both had massive heart failures and now their wives do not have a husband and their children do not have a father. They were healthy guys that worked outside so it is highly unlikely that a covid infection would have posed any threat to their health, the experimental genetic injections pushed on them by Pfizer and their friends in government however, cut their lives short needlessly. Now another friend of mine that had taken 3 of those injections has passed from aggressive (non-site specific) turbo cancer. My wife also has two friends (they were among her fellow school teachers) that "died suddenly" after capitulating to the government pressure and injection mandates.

I share this to explain why I was so passionate in my criticisms of Paul Stamets continuing endorsement of the genetic slurry injections created by corporations like Pfizer in the review above.

Thanks for the comment.

Gavin, thank you for honoring these good men and women that were poisoned. It’s shocking and heart breaking and far too common.

yeah thanks for speaking up. maybe he needs to eat more of the enlightening mushrooms, I don’t know. its hard to judge what his views are from your description, but since mine are vaguely opposite, I would guess that his views aren’t all that great. for instance, I think if you’re not discussing the details with your friends about how exactly how JEWS DID 911 & 10/7 and had the hutzpah to blame it on ‘the’ Muslims and drop an unholy load of bombs across the earth over gargantuan Jewish lies, then you’re not really talking about politics, and you’re racist as hell against all life on earth. its all Jew World Order anytime I look into it. the bus driver may change but the route remains the same. population reduction is one of their long stated goals, and viral biowarfare programs have been funded to the tune of billions over many decades now.

Hey Will.

That is funny regarding the suggested prescription of more "enlightening mushrooms" (though I think he eats more of those than most people, so not sure if that will help).

If you want to know more about Paul's stated views about big pharma and the mRNA injections you just have to read the review above (about 1/3 of the way down I shared quotes from him, both from the book, and from other interviews he did more recently pertaining to that subject matter).

Here is a link to a pertinent interview I linked for ease of access.

Regarding your feelings about the need for demonizing specific demographics of the human family (based on the behavior of a few crazies that happened to identify themselves with certain words, religious affiliation or geographic origins etc) I have no interest in wasting time with that.

I am publishing material that is solutions based, illuminating the truth about predators and parasites in our midst (psychopathic government entities, oligarchic cartels, corrupt corporations etc) so we can safely avoid the pitfalls they have set up is part of my path yes, but piling all the blame for the degenerate, duplicitous and nefarious behavior of humans in positions of power onto a single religion or ethnic group is absurd, counter-intuitive and does not help us to heal our fractured human family (nor our fractured relationship with the living Earth).

Regardless of who is scheming to engage in eugenics operations (which I have written about in depth on here in past articles) the solutions to avoid them, boycott said systems and plant the seeds for parallel societies that leave said psychopathic interests behind remain the same. Pointing our finger at one sub-group of humanity as the "bad guys" equates to spinning your tires and spending your time and energy going no-where.

Rather than spending lots of time posting comments in an attempt to demonize a subset of the human population, I would suggest looking to highlight the works of human beings that are doing things that are empowering, beautiful, uplifting, unifying and hopeful.

Thanks for the comment.

Yes all the natural health practitioners like Gary Null who I started listening to in ‘85 when he was already a leading alternative health expert and he's still going now preaching it! I only mention Big Jew Pharma because like banking, wars, and a few other things, it's all 100% Jewish individuals behind it, like State Street, Vanguard, and Blackrock… and as far as freedom of speech goes, I definitely think it's important to mention it, simply because too many people still deny it. Yes obviously it alienates brainwashed people, but I'm going to say it anyway. Most people really don't get it that Joe Biden was just a professional liar from Big Jew Pharma, or that Donald Trump is a mere showman con artist from the heroin money laundry “casino” resorts international where his overlords actually killed JFK … because I know the details, and most folks have never been exposed to the information.

It's very difficult to know for sure what the super rich are up to, like for instance my belief is that the plandemic they unleashed on us was COVID LITE- if they really wanted to kill us all they could do it in one heartbeat in any number of ways. And they are also already doing it and have been for a long time engineering our planned obsolescence. But they have been MENTALLY PREPARING US to accept a mass die off. I think they do worry about their PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY, like they want to make it look really good, like they didn't engineer it and unleash it … so sooner or later we might actually want the vaccine, we'll see I'm sure. Until then I advocate for the Essiac tea cancer cure of the American Indians, and every other natural healthy organic thing. Back to the land lifestyle walking and farming. Otherwise it will be crawling and starving. Why not plant fruit and nut trees everywhere? Health will improve…

Thanks Gary. I appreciate you taking the time to read it and i`m glad you got something out of it. Hopefully you can refer back to the sections I highlighted in green in the future as you apply the decentralized solutions for health and food sovereignty in your life.

This was so interesting. Thank you. I used to not like mushrooms and I’m pretty sure that was the phobia. Everything from the fairytales showing witches and toadstools, to learning about how they decompose others, kept me from really appreciating them. This even with a dad who was the epitome of Grizzly Adams and taught me the saying ‘there’s a fungus among us’. lol.

Then, I started a personal journey trying to learn about health sovereignty and healing with Nature, Stamets included, and that led me back to what I now know to be the incredible mushroom. Another fantastic creation of Nature.

Appreciate the time it took for you to write this. ❤️

Thanks! I appreciate you taking the time to read it and share your thoughts and experiences.

I was blessed to be raised by two humans that were park rangers when I was young (so I spent a lot of time in the old forests appreciating fungi and trees), with an uncle living nearby they called “Mushroom Mark” (he foraged for gourmet mushrooms for restaurants) and my grandparents had a bed and breakfast where they grew their own mushrooms and had me help them forage for morels. So I had a unique window into the world of mushrooms that most in the modern western world do not.

I was able to look at fungi with the eyes of a child in wonder and curiosity and then look to knowledgeable adults in my life that taught me about their many gifts (culinary and beyond). I only became aware of the mycophobia prevalent in today's industrialized western society when I tried to share my passion and interest in mushrooms with my peers/school teachers etc.

The experiences I had growing up are the type of supportive educational experience I want to foster in my "Biocultural Refugia" designs for families and little ones in the future.

Now that I understand their role as key stone species from my study of soil science and given how we can each learn to cultivate our own, I feel like the value of allying with fungi in our gardens and community scale projects cannot be over emphasized.

Grateful you took the time to share.
