Poll Of The Month: If it was up to you, what would you do with "A.I." development and services globally?

Chatbots, “large language models”, and talk of Artificial Intelligence is all over the place.
Some people love using these computer programs to generate images or even write articles, essays or books for them, some worship these computer programs, some use it to spy on citizens and oppress them with drones and hired thugs, others use these programs to scoop the cream off the top of the global economy raking in Trillions for their hedge funds.
Some people are afraid of these programs and either think these machine learning programs are demonic or others think that AI is a big fat nothing burger, but it’s infrastructure and hype could do real harm). Then there are those that hear the talk of General Artificial Intelligence, fearing these learning machines will supersede, cull or oppress their human creators, others think that AI is nothing more than a bunch of hype and fluff and there is no real intelligence involved at all and it poses no threat.
What ever your stance is on the endless armies of chatbots that are flooding into our lives and the oceans of server farms (and even now perhaps nuclear reactors?) and the strange transhumanist AI endeavors (such as “Mixed Reality” goggle interfaces, Synthetic biology, the Musk neurolink Brain chips, or “Organic Slave Computers” we are told are being devoted to (and or designed to allow you to interface with) this thing called “A.I.”, this is my question to you:
If you were able to exert universal omniscient oversight and enforcement on the realm of humans developing and utilizing “A.I.” on planet Earth, what would you do?
Yes I know it would be logistically impossible to actually stop AI development globally as it is being worked on by many state and non-state actors, in bunkers, in military bases, in corporate headquarters and in garages/basements but this hypothetical is supposed to be about holding up a mirror so we can all get a glimpse into where we, and our fellow humans sit on this issue, and not literal implementation logistics for your vote.
Here are elaborated descriptions of the voting options above (character count makes them hard to describe explicitly/concisely) :
scrap the whole thing: this option means that if it was up to you, you would use your hypothetical omnipotent powers to dismantle all AI related tech and stop it from being developed going forward
create A.G.I. and get a brain chip: This option means if you had the power to do so you would use it to create A.G.I. (Artificial general intelligence) and then merge with that machine intelligence via a brain machine interface technology such as Elon Musk’s brain chip (Neuralink).
use existing tools but nothing new: This option means you are not in a hurry to line up and be plugged into skynet with a brain chip, but you think that the current “A.I.” tools like large language model chatbots etc are helpful and worth keeping, so if it was up to you, you would keep existing publicly acknowledge tech, but not allow any further development of AI tech.
stay the course w/ strict oversight: This option means you think we should keep developing A.I. and integrating it into our society/modern industrial civilization but it should be done with strict government oversight so that we end up with ‘safe and effective AI’ that does the bidding of humans, and not the sketchy and unfriendly HAL, terminator or ex machina types of AI that will ruin your whole day.
other (please explain): This option is for those that find the multiple choice options I have provided above to be lacking, and you would like to provide a different course of action within the realm of this hypothetical situation. If you chose this option, please elaborate on why.

While I'm probably more a staunch #1, I also considered a #5 option:
Deploy AI technology to truly benefit humanity (not just the occult cabals). I would have AI systems trained to perfect efficiencies, such as traffic/traffic light/ public transport management for commutes; eliminate useless bureaucracy/management middle-upper class from local, state and federal government; AI health diagnostics filled with suppressed/demonised health options (eg. herbal, homeopathic, acupuncture, chiro, etc); AI home helpers to do the daily chores we loathe; AI off-planet resource acquisition (e.g. asteroid mining). I want to see a world where everyone is living together harmoniously, free of the propaganda apparatus which divides, blinds and creates hostility.
In my system, AI would be utterly banned from: creating art, music, media or literature; war and weapons development; allopathic pharmaceutical product development; genetics
Nothing good can come of it. And there is no intelligence to it. It separates humans from their soul, and requires destroying earth and all life on it, to do it.
