This post shares a full recipe from my recently published book as well as information on the many health benefits of sweet potatoes and how to grow them regeneratively in the garden
Thank You! Amazing post! Thank you for making people hungry for a wonderful HEALTHY food! Just saw your dioxine post, and linked it to mine, hope that's ok...
Your welcome! Thanks for the kind comment I am glad you appreciate the recipes for both food as well as healing our soil/society.
I am honored you would link my post, thanks for helping empower people to heal themselves through giving back to the living Earth through sharing that content.
oh, just wished you both masters would live in Bay area (CA) and open an amazing restaurant with REAL HUMAN FOOD! But, since you are so far away, I guess people need to learn all that from your posts and follow you, NOT on X or book of faces, but in the kitchen AND garden!
We are eating lots of our home grown sweet potatoes at the moment. Glad to get another recipe for enjoying them, your recipe looks delish! Have you tried them fermented yet? Last year I made West African Sweet Potato Ferment and gave most of it away to friends and neighbors because I had way too much. It was a big hit! The goats absolutely love the vines and they thrive as long as I keep watering them, which is well worth it because the goats don’t have a lot of forage at the end of summer, so they devour those vines like juicy noodles. 😁
But next time I make it I’ll lighten up on the coriander seed. I love cilantro so much I mistakenly think I like coriander seed just as much, but I do not! Funny how different the fresh herb tastes and smells from the seed, so different from many herbs, like parsley, dill, celery. 🤔

That is awesome!
I have not tried fermenting them yet, but I will now!! :) Can you suggest a recipe?
I wanna try growing the purple fleshed ones this summer.
Goats eating the vines like noodles, hahah that is a great visual
I used this recipe from the Shockey’s book-- https://ferment.works/blog/2013/3/1/fermenting-sweet-potatoes. Hope y’all like it!
