Thanks for swinging by to appreciate my work and comment.

May these images inspire you to get out and explore the forests, mountains and meadows where you live to experience beauty like you see above in person (as it offers beauty and nourishment that a camera lens is unable to translate digitally).

Happy trails :)

There’s a forest very near me, and I walk in it Every Day. That’s where my Family Trees live. I whistle to the birdies, and I enjoy all the “ferniture.” It is my heart’s delight. And I LOVE IT in there. My dream is to live in a forest…

And I think you are a very gifted photographer, my dear pal. ^_^

Your photos are so gorgeous, thank you for reposting! They are certainly a testament to the old adage--'a picture's worth a thousand words'. I usually think photos are inferior to skilled painting in capturing so much of the subtle magic of nature, but yours are a definite exception to the rule.

I think you've said in the past you don't use any photoshop-type enhancements, is that right?

Thanks my friend! I really appreciate the kind words. All my photos do not turn out like these, I choose through many to get these ones that I like the best. I take pics of the same scene/being from different angles and with different natural lighting if possible and then choose one out of ten or so that I like the best. I used my Nikon 5100 with a macro lens for some of these and my pentax waterproof TG7 cam for others.

Yes that is right, I do not do any of that photo-shop picture enhancement stuff. The picture is either good the way it is, or not, I do not try to use computers to change what I captured through the lens.

I appreciate the comment.

So glad to hear that! I hope you never change your method and start using fake enhancements. I know others who have vowed to 'stay clean' and then bowed to industry pressure or popular expectations, I'm sure it's a challenge. Too many tools ruin the art and craft.

All the (photoshop and/or "A.I.") altered nature pics all over the net are a big turn off to me. To me, photoshopping, altering colors or "AI" enhancing is like tryna put make up on or do plastic surgery on Mother Earth, she is beautiful just as she is, rough around the edges sometimes like all of us, but the vibrance, exceptional forms and colors that move the spirit are present and able to be captured through a 'naked lens' (or better yet through one's eye balls) if we really pay attention and remain present.

I am not even tempted a little bit to enhance my photos with computer programs. I do see others around me that are though, and increasingly so as all these generative programs crop up making totally unreal eye catching (click bait) enhancements to stuff. Not my cup of tea, never will be.

Thanks for having an appreciation for what is real and raw.
