Gavin! This is such a beautifully presented and luscious article...way beyond the peripheral. Your determination and inspiration is what keeps me happily hooked in wonderment to your posts. Thanks so much.
Incredible, as always! So many resources and wonderful pictures, making one really hungry for a REAL FOOD! Anti-bodies towards natural hormones like FSHR, TSH, LH, HCG will affect maternal pregnancy. Spike protein in the covid injections is full of homolog pieces of those human proteins, which can affect exactly those pathways involving these hormones, thus pregnancy.
Also wanted to add, one particular vaccine, which can make a woman infertile for the rest of life, the tetanus shot...
Could you address the fresh oyster/ parasite controversy? I eat them and my children do as well and I’ve had so many people warn me of the dangers and I like a good solid rebuttal to get them off my case - thanks!
I wish my grandparents were still alive as they were very knowledgeable regarding oysters and other shellfish. I used to help them collect them for their restaurant when I was a kid.
I have not researched that side of ocean based foods but I have heard the odd ominous warning from nay sayers. If I have time in the weeks ahead I`ll look into it and get back to you.
Just speaking in general, I would say that parasites (like bacteria) are all over the place, and it is more about the quality of one's "terrain" which determines whether or not such things will cause an issue (as opposed to the intrinsic qualities of the organism with pathogenic/parasitic potential). In other words, someone that has a good PH in their gut and body via drinking lots of spring water/lemon water, eating fresh fruit/deep colored veggies, and eats foods that have antiparasitic properties (such as ginger, pumpkin seeds and chili peppers) may encounter a parasite through food, but the parasite is unable to survive inside their body.
So while I cannot speak to oysters specifically, I can say that there are preventative measures one can take in a dietary sense which creates a solid defense against such issues across the board.
This is actually incredibly helpful and lines up with my intuitive sense as well. But you articulated it in a much clearer snd cohesive way! Thank you for your thoughtful and thorough response 🤍
Avoid Stevia. It was originally used in south america as a tea for birth control. because 1/4 of a teaspoon is all it takes to disregulate your hormones in both men and women. the pharmaceutical companies were desperate to patent it, but they found even changing a tiny bit of it made it less effective. I am not sure a persons hormones can be corrected completely after using it, because it has shown epigenetic effects in further, long term testing. (as when taking it during pregnancy)
Thanks for the heads up on that. I`ll add that to the updated section of this article that covers "what to avoid when trying to start a family".
It is interesting as I have always just avoided it intuitively.
I remember when I bought some organic tea from a local company once they were giving away free organic stevia but something just told me don't eat it (despite all their nice well meaning advertising on the "benefits" when compared to cane sugar).
"We could help others realize that we do not live on a fixed pie and that every new human is not simply another mouth to feed with that ever-shrinking resource"
"We could argue that the culling of the future population by our decision not to have children deprives the world of the next genius who will come along to invent a solution to one of our many problems or the next great visionary who will inspire humanity to reach even greater equilibrium with the world around us."
Both of these statements jumped out at me today when I read James's piece. I'm glad you linked them in this stack. Very interesting and something I wish I had on my radar 16 years ago. So many things I'm learning and filing away in the hopes of a healthy grand baby someday. My eyes continue to open through each piece of new information. Thanks Gavin
Thanks for the excellent JC quote my friend. That part of his recent post also stood out for me.
Yes, I am constantly unlearning things as well... there is just so much nonsense and propaganda pushed on us through public "education" systems, big pharma infiltrated/orchestrated mainstream medicine sources, news media and government "health recommendations" that one ends up having to do a massive purge of totally fallacious and/or distorted info from the mind once one becomes an adult and asks the hard questions. Perhaps we can lessen the amount of unlearning future generations have to do through passing on awareness and info that is less contaminated by corporate/government propaganda and give them an easier go of it.
I am so glad you find this info helpful as you hope for a grand baby :)

Glad you found it helpful, I may do a future installment of the series above focusing on anti-parasitic foods, so thanks for the inspiration :)
