Great info! What a coincidence. I just made a big batch of stinging nettle tinctures! I use it to suppress histamine and lower the incidence of seasonal allergic reactions. A neighbour of mine uses my nettle tincture for his prostate health. Stinging nettle, Mullein and Eastern White Pine are my favourites!

You've convinced me. I don't really have a good spot for nettle, but I'm going to order some seeds and see if I can get some going here. I've researched and it appears that nettle is also deer resistant which is incredibly important where I live because the deer are insanely prolific in our town. I've been desperately trying to find things that are a combination of deer resistant, edible, and/or useful to put in place of grass around my home. It's also important that whatever I plant is easy to care for. (Spearmint, meets most of the criteria, but oh man! It takes over and is a nightmare to keep under control. haha) Thanks for your great posts.
